Lincoln County landmark in ruins after collapse

HUSTONVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A southern Kentucky landmark is in ruins.

The Hustonville Haunted House in Lincoln County collapsed Sunday. The building was about 100-years old and was a piece of history in the small Lincoln County town.

Sunday's collapse also caused a gas leak, and crews were on the scene for hours to make sure everything was safe.

Officials suspect the building's age was a big reason for the collapse.
