The cold front is now working into eastern Kentucky with winds gusting to near 40mph at times. Temps have dropped into the 30s behind the front and we've had reports of sleet and snow mixing with the rain in Lexington.
A great way to end our work week with highs in the lower to mid 50s and plenty of sunshine! We start warming, slightly but surely, the next few days as our weekend looks fantastic! Typically this time a year we are in the mid 50s for highs and that looks like the case for this weekend. Highs both Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid to upper 50s. Don't be surprised if our zones in the south hit 60+ on these two days. A slight chance of rain comes in a couple of days before Thanksgiving, but looks dry for Thanksgiving Day with highs, very mild, around 60!
