Updated: Sun 2:15 PM, Dec 16, 2012

SALYERSVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Postal workers created a giant post card and sent it Saturday to a boy in Magoffin County with Cystic Fibrosis.

Postal workers from Mount Sterling delivered the card to Dalton Dingus.

Dalton is sick and has cystic fibrosis.

He has recently collected an estimated total of one-hundred thousand Christmas cards.

The post card is 4 feet tall and 8 feet long.

It weighs 46 pounds and officials think it could be the largest card ever.

Postal workers said they were honored to make it.

“Every once in a while we need to remember that we are kind, we are the human race, we are loving, and we provide the miracle we are the miracle and Dalton's going to live forever through us,” said Mark Wright with the Mt. Sterling Post Office.

Postal workers said they paid $90 for the card's postage fee.
