We had a front roll through overnight and it won't fully make its way out of the region till the afternoon/evening. That should give way to a couple storms this afternoon with the best chances being south of I-64 and even that's only a 20%-30% chance. That's good news for everyone heading out to the ballgame in Richmond for EKU's football game.
The same story will go for Friday as our High School Game Time weather should be dry, but humid. Things will start to change moving into the weekend.
We are seeing increased chances of showers and storms for the both Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately that also looks to hold tight on Labor Day. If you are staying around here for the holiday just have a backup plan. If you are heading to Nashville for the game you will have a chance at rain for the weekend and temperatures will be in the lower to mid 90s!
