Man accused of stabbing grandfather

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is in jail accused of stabbing his grandfather.

Danville Police say the stabbing happened inside a home on Goggin Road around 2:00 p.m. Friday.

Police tell us Harold Long, 78, suffered multiple stab wounds. He was airlifted to UK hospital with what we're told could be life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested Charles Vanhook, 37, after the stabbing.

He is charged with attempted murder and kidnapping.
