Man airlifted after being hit by truck on Danville street

DANVILLE, Ky. (WKYT) - A man was airlifted to the hospital Tuesday, after police say a truck hit him as he crossed a street.

It happened just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of South Third and West Walnut Street in Danville.

Police say Everette Stephens, 67, of Danville, was in the crosswalk when the truck hit him, as the driver tried to make a left turn.

Stephens was flown to UK Hospital. His condition is unknown.
