LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Lexington Police are still searching for a man they say came into a gas station and robbed the clerk with a large knife. It happened at the Speedway on Paris Pike, near I-75.

Police say shortly before 4:30 Tuesday morning a man came into the store with a shirt covering his face and demanded cash from the clerk. The clerk complied with the robber and wasn't injured.

Police brought in search dogs, which tracked a scent on the suspect to an apartment complex on Rogers Road. So far, police say they haven't found the robber.

Police say they're looking for a light skinned black man wearing a black jacket, white thermal shirt, and black pants.

The Speedway re-opened to customers around six Tuesday morning.
