State Police say a standoff at a central Kentucky home came to a safe end.

It all began around midnight on Tuesday as a domestic violence call at a home on Parker Road. That is located just outside the Eubank community in Lincoln.

Kentucky State Police tell us a sheriff and constable responded to the call. They were able to get a woman inside the home safety. However, they say the man inside threatened to hurt officers. That's when police tell WKYT the standoff began.

It all came to a peaceful end around five Tuesday morning. The man inside the home was arrested.

Police charged 53-year old Timothy Combs with assault, terroristic threatening, and fleeing and evading police on foot.
