Man arrested for string of Lexington burglaries and robberies

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - The search for a man wanted in a string of robberies and burglaries is over.

Lexington Police arrested David Griggs, 35, on Thursday afternoon.

Police say he robbed the Cricket Store on Versailles Road and the Family Dollar on Waller Avenue on Wednesday.

He is also accused in burglaries on Clairidge Drive on Wednesday, Calumet Terrace on February 15 and Parterre Place on February 5.

He is charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of burglary.
