Man arrested in string of Madison County burglaries

MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is behind bars, charged in a series of Central Kentucky burglaries.

Jarred Pitman is facing burglary and theft by deception charges in Madison County.

Police say Pitman admitted to several burglaries in Madison County after he was shot during a home invasion in Garrard County last month.

Investigators later found out Pitman sold several pieces of jewelry to pawn shops in Nicholasville, Lexington, Richmond, Berea, and London.

We're told he also sold electronics and guns to other people, some of whom, have now also been charged.
