Man attacked, robbed in Lexington hotel room

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) A hotel guest woke up to find robbers in his room.

It happened just before three Thursday morning at the Red Roof Inn off Paris Pike.

A man told police that two men broke into his room, assaulted him and stole his money.The victim was treated at the scene for his injuries.

Shortly after that crime, police say a woman was also assaulted outside the hotel. Police are trying to figure out if the two crimes are related.
