Man charged in deadly Scott Co. DUI crash out of jail

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WKYT) - A man charged in a crash that left a man dead is now out of jail.

A lieutenant at the Scott County Detention Center says Frankie Lazarin left the Scott County Detention Center on Sunday. Jail officials tell WKYT he was released on a $2,000 cash bond.

Police say Lazarin was driving along I-75 in Scott County early Sunday morning when he hit a guardrail near the 123 mile marker.
The passenger, 47-year old Roger Daniels, was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Police arrested Lazarin at the scene of the crash. Right now, he is only facing a DUI charge.

Lazarin is set to go before a judge at 9:00 a.m. on February 5th at Scott County District Court.
