WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WKYT) - Trina White and Mark Hyden are set to appear in court Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m.
Both will be arraigned in Corbin via video from the jails their listed in. We're told White, the mother, is listed in Woodford County Jail, and Hyden is listed in Bell County.
Moments after her two-year-old daughter's funeral, police arrested White and charged her with murder.
Police arrest White and her boyfriend, Mark Hyden, for the murder of White's daughter, Madisyn.
Mark Shane Hyden was arrested Monday morning. A few hours later, right after attending her daughter's funeral service, police arrested White.
Both are accused in the murder of the two-year-old.
Chief Wayne Bird of the Williamsburg Police says, "We are told that trauma to the head occurred over a two week period."
Two-year-old Madisyn Davis died after her mother discovered her unresponsive last Wednesday and then made a desperate call to 911.
Police say the child died of blunt force trauma and asphyxiation.
"From what I saw visibly, and from what the medical examiner said, the child suffered."
Police say the mother had recently bonded out of jail on the same charge that resulted in the arrest of the father who is still in jail.
"Sometime during that three to four weeks ago, Mark Hyden and Trina White started living together and they started living together for three to four weeks."
Police say White and the boyfriend are not being held in the Whitley County jail because that's where the father is still being held.
Trina White was arrested in 2011 on meth and child endangerment charges, because police say a child under 12 was present.
