The risk for strong and severe thunderstorms will be on the increase late this afternoon into the evening. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire area in a slight chance for severe weather through Wednesday.

Man crashes into car after he blacks out

BATH/ROWAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A man crashes his car into another--after he claims he blacked out!

This afternoon Joe Taulbee was driving his Audi eastbound on US-60 near the Bath-Rowan county line when he blacked out, lost control and struck Phyllis Reynolds on the driver side door of her Chevy Cavalier.

Taulbee was taken to St. Claire Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

Reynolds and her passenger were taken to UK hospital--Reynolds is listed in critical condition.
