Man critically injured in Lexington Waffle House brawl

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man suffered critical injuries in a fight at a Lexington restaurant. The fight happened inside the Waffle House on Georgetown Road around 2:30 Thursday morning.

The manager tells WKYT that two groups of customers inside the store began arguing. The argument then turned physical. Some of the men in the groups began fighting. The owner says the fight was so intense that the jukebox was broken.

One man ended up with critical injuries as a result of the brawl. The owner says he was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the intensive care unit. Police say that man is at UK Hospital in critical condition.

Lexington Police are still searching for the men involved in the fight. The owners says at least one group of the men said they were from Detroit.
