Man faces serious injuries after being hit by car

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man was sent to the hospital with serious injuries after police say he was hit by a car.

It happened just before 7:30 Monday night on Nicholasville Road at Cooper Drive.

Lexington Police say the man was walking in the middle of the road when he was hit.

We're told he was taken to UK Hospital with head injuries. His condition is unknown.

Police don't expect the driver will face any charges.
