Man hit, killed by train in Danville

BOYLE CO. (WKYT) - A Central Kentucky man is dead after being hit by a train in Danville.

Police say 38-year-old Kevin Jackson, was heading south on the train tracks near Maple Avenue, and was attempting to cross the bridge when he was hit by an oncoming train.

The impact threw Jackson 70 yards from the bridge. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe he was heading to downtown Danville, to meet up with family members.
