Man injured in fall at Red River Gorge

MENIFEE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A man is injured after crews say he was hiking in the Red River Gorge, and fell from a cliff.

Crews tell us the man, who is in his 30's, has since been rescued. We're told the rescue took 5 1/2 hours, due to the weather.

Officials tell us it happened along Bison Way Trail, around midnight Friday.

He is said to be suffering from hypothermia. Though, we're told he will be okay. He's being taken to St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
