A Flood Watch and a Winter Storm Watch are out for the entire region late Tuesday through early Thursday. Heavy rain develops Tuesday night into Wednesday morning and may put down 1”-3” in some areas. Arctic air pushes in from west to east on Wednesday with heavy sleet and snow taking over. That setup could produce several inches of accumulation. Snow will slowly end from west to east Thursday as bitterly cold air continues to push in.
DRY RIDGE, KY (WKYT) – Kentucky State Police are investigating an fatal collision that occurred on Ky 36 Saturday night.
Shelia Ray, 36, of Williamstown was driving a 2001 Dodge pickup truck traveling east bound. She struck William Bowling, 53, of Union Ky, who was walking on the travel portion of the roadway.
Ray was unable to avoid hitting Bowling due to oncoming traffic.
Bowling was transported to University of Cincinnati Hospital by helicopter where he was pronounced deceased early this morning.
Ray was not under the influence of any alcohol at the time of the collision. The collision remains under investigation by Trooper Darren Kinman.
