FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - A man's quick thinking and action is being credited with saving the life of his neighbor after he pulled him from a burning home.
The Franklin County Sheriff's office reports that fire crews responded to the home on Pickett Avenue around 10:30 Saturday morning.
A neighbor across the road saw the home was on fire and ran over, according to the sheriff's office. He found the homeowner collapsed at the doorway inside the home and pulled him into the yard.
The Sheriff's office reports that nearby officers also responded to help the neighbor pull the victim safely from his home.
No one else was found inside the home.
The homeowner's condition is not known at this time.
