The risk for strong and severe thunderstorms will be on the increase late this afternoon into the evening. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire area in a slight chance for severe weather through Wednesday.

Man sentenced to ten years in another man's death

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - A man will spend ten years behind bars after admitting to causing a man's death.

A Fayette County judge sentenced Travis Hurd Friday morning

He pleaded guilty to manslaughter for the 2010 death of James Shaw.

Shaw lived at a boarding house for mentally challenged adults.

Madison Co. man arrested for using small child as designated driver
