LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) Investigators have identified a man shot and killed outside a nursing home on Tuesday.
The Fayette County Coroner says the man is 31-year-old Anthony Beaumont, Jr.
Police say the shooting began with a meeting between three people in the parking lot of Northpoint Lexington Healthcare Center on Trent Boulevard.
According to investigators, the discussion erupted in gunfire.
Beaumont was taken to UK hospital where he died.
Police say they do not have a description of the suspect, but continue to look into what lead up to the shooting.
All officers have at this time is a report of a black BMW 700 series that was seen leaving the area and reportedly driving recklessly.
Investigators aren't able to tie the car to the crime, but say it is a lead they're looking at.
