Man wanted in violent robbery in Richmond

RICHMOND, Ky. (WKYT) - An arrest warrant has been issued for a man wanted in a violent robbery in Richmond.

Police are looking for 31-year-old Terry Deangelo Mallory.

Investigators say Mallory dragged a woman with his car while trying to steal her wallet, then backed over her after she fell from the vehicle.

The incident happened back in January on South Killarney Lane. Police say the victim told them she was getting a pack of cigarettes from Mallory and when she leaned into his car he took off.

Police say the victim was eventually able to free herself. Police say Mallory then put his car in reverse and ran over the victim.

She was taken to UK hospital with several serious injuries including a concussion, internal bleeding, and a torn kidney. Due to the attack, police say it is likely the victim will have to have her kidney removed.

This week, police issued an arrest warrant for Mallory. He is wanted for robbery, assault and intimidating a participant in the legal process. Police say sometime after the robbery, Mallory contacted the victim and threatened her.

Investigators believe Mallory is staying with family members in Lexington
