Man wearing Spiderman mask robs Frankfort gas station

Police are looking for a robber who held up a gas station wearing a Spider-Man mask.

Frankfort Police received a robbery report at a Marathon Station on Holmes Street, just after 9:30 on Saturday night.

An employee told police that a man armed with a small black handgun, and wearing a Spider-Man mask, entered the store and demanded money. The ran off with cash toward Noel Avenue. Frankfort Police K-9 units searched the area, but did not find the robber.

The suspect is described as a white man, wearing a green long sleeve shirt, with a white under shirt. He also had on light colored blue jeans & sandals. The suspect covered his face with a red spider-man mask.

Frankfort Police are asking anyone who may information on this crime to call them at 502 875-8523.

Information may be given anonymously by calling Frankfort Crime Stoppers at 502 875-8648 or on the web. Crime Stoppers may pay a cash reward of up to $1,000.00 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
