Man arrested for shooting wife to death

State Police have arrested a man accused of killing his wife.

Modena Sutton Branson, 50, was found dead inside a home on Ballard Road in Anderson County on Monday. State Police say they also found Timothy Branson, 48, inside the house with a gunshot wound. He was taken to UK hospital.

On Tuesday, A grand jury indicted Timothy Branson on murder and two counts of wanton endangerment. State Police say Branson shot his wife and later shot himself.

Timothy Branson was released from UK hospital on Thursday night. State Police tell us he is now in the Kentucky State Reformatory in LaGrange.

His bond is set at $1 million.
