Richmond Police have arrested 32-year-old Robert Henry of Irvine in connection with the theft of tires from Walmart.

Police say a representative of Walmart reported that 10 Goodyear Wrangler truck tires and 23 Douglas truck tires had been stolen from the store April 19. A vehicle involved in the theft was described as a blue van occupied by two white males. It was subsequently learned that the suspect vehicle was involved in an accident in Estill County and had been towed to a local impound lot. It was noted that four Douglas truck tires were located in the rear of the van. Henry was identified as being in the van at the time of the accident.

Police say they retrieved the four tires and located Henry at the Madison District Court where he was appearing on unrelated charges. Henry was taken into custody and charged for Theft by Unlawful Taking over $500.
