A man on a cross country cycling trip died when, investigators say, he crashed his bike in eastern Kentucky.
The crash happened Monday on Highway 3445 in the Gray Hawk community of Jackson county.
The coroner says Oliver Scheideman, Junior, 71, suffered spinal fractures in the crash. He died on Thursday morning at UK hospital.
Scheideman was from California.
