Man dies in farming accident

A southern Kentucky man has died after a farming accident.

The Pulaski County Sheriff's Office confirms to WKYT a 53-year-old man was found dead on Public Road, that's about 15 miles east of Somerset.

Investigators say the man was operating a tractor Wednesday evening when it appears it went about 250 feet over a steep incline and hit a tree.

The 53-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
