A man is recovering after being shot in what police say appears to be a case of self-defense.
The shooting happened just after midnight Saturday, in the Red Bird community of Clay County.
The sheriff says Chris Mills claims he shot Matt Sizemore in self defense.
27 NEWSFIRST is told Sizemore was shot in the arm. He was airlifted to a Tennessee hospital.
Police have not made any arrests. We're told the case will be presented to a grand jury.
