Man robs Subway at gunpoint

A man wearing a stocking over his head held up a restaurant shortly after it opened Sunday morning.

It happened at the Subway on Kenesaw Drive around 9:45 a.m.

Lexington Police say the suspect had a gun when he came in, demanded money, then took off.

Only one employee was working at the time. She was not hurt.

The suspect is described as a black male, about six feet tall, wearing black clothing and the stocking on his head.
