Man stopped for texting while driving arrested for meth

Kentucky State Police arrested a Gallatin County man Saturday night after discovering an alleged meth lab inside his vehicle during a traffic stop.

Troopers say they stopped 32-year-old Travis Moore, who is from Warsaw, because he was texting behind the wheel. He was pulled over at 11:10pm at the intersection of Johnson Hill Road and US Highway 127.

After making the stop, the trooper says he discovered the meth lab and several ingredients used in manufacturing methamphetamine in the vehicle. He arrested Moore for Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Physical Evidence, DUI 1st, Communication Device Violation, and Failure to Notify Address Change.
