Police: Lexington shooting victim didn't hear gun or see shooter

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Police are investigating a shooting in Lexington that the victim didn't hear or see.

A man called Police around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, saying he was walking down Seventh Street near Maple Avenue when he was shot in the arm.

The victim said he had no idea where the shot came from, and he didn't hear the gun go off.

Police say the victim was intoxicated when they arrived.

He was taken to UK hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have no suspects at this time.
