Mercer County business owner remembered

WKYT would like pass our deepest sympathies to a friend of this station and our parent company, Gray Television.

The family of James 'Jim' Murray is mourning his passing. The 49-year-old Harrodsburg man died Sunday, his funeral was held Thursday afternoon.

He was a graduate of Mercer County High School and EKU. He served in the Air Force and Army National Guard. He owned and operated Murray properties and Royalty's Florist in Harrodsburg.

The family requests memorial donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or The American Cancer Society.
