IRVING, Tx. (WKYT) - The largest US crafts chain is releasing details of a security breach.
Michaels says the breach at its stores lasted eight months and affected about 3,000,000 customers.
The store told customers about the possible hack three months ago and has been investigating since then.
Hackers got some credit and debit card numbers and expiration dates.
The company said there is no evidence that information such as customer names or pins were stolen.
