EWING, Ky. (AP) - Police say a migrant worker has been charged with murder in the deaths of two people whose skeletal remains were found in Fleming County in April.
Fleming County Sheriff Scotty Royse tells the Lexington Herald-Leader (bit.ly/OMtGL6) that 27-year-old Mariano Arias was arrested Wednesday in Ewing and was being held in the Mason County Detention Center.
Royse says the two murder charges stem from two sets of human remains found in April.
Royse says local authorities are working with the Kentucky Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort and the victims may have been migrant workers.
