Mild weekend for the Bluegrass

Posted: Sat 7:06 AM, Feb 09, 2013

We're in for a sunny and seasonal Saturday with highs reaching the mid 40s. Winds will be light from the south. Overnight we'll see more clouds moving in ahead of a warm front. Showers and a few storms will be likely Sunday afternoon as highs reach 56. A cold front will quickly follow and bring an end to the rain on Monday. Temperatures will reach into the 40s to start the week.

It will continue to cool off during the week with a chance of snow showers on Wednesday. We will settle back into a wintry pattern with highs near freezing and lows in the 20s through the end of the week. Computer models show another chance of snow to start the weekend.
