Milder temps to bring ugly weather

By  |

We continue to climb out of the deep freeze in central and eastern Kentucky. Temps today even cracked the freezing mark in some areas. The temp rise will come with a price as several weather systems impact our weather in the coming days.

The first arrives on Thursday and could bring a light wintry mix to some areas. Temps will be back in the 30s.

Friday turns even milder with thermometers making a run at 50. A few clouds and isolated showers will be noted.

Rain will increase Friday night and Saturday as another storm system moves our way. Locally heavy rain will be possible Saturday as temps crash in the afternoon. This will lead to a colder Sunday with highs in the upper 30s.

Keep a close eye on a storm that rolls in by late Monday or Tuesday. That one could bring rain or snow our way with a more substantial drop in temperatures behind it.
