JERUSALEM (AP) - Fighting between Israelis and Palestinians has escalated sharply, even as there is talk that Israeli leaders will suspend their offensive in the Gaza Strip during a visit today by Egypt's prime minister.
Dozens of missiles exploded in Gaza City overnight, hitting the Interior Ministry and targeting about 150 other sites Israel says Gaza gunmen use to fire rockets at Israel.
