CINCINNATI, Oh. (AP) - Police say a body found in a vacant building is believed to be that of a Cincinnati college student who has been missing for more than a week.
Lt. Martin Mack tells The Associated Press the body was found around 9 p.m. Monday in a building that's being rehabbed. He says the Hamilton County coroner is expected to determine if it is 21-year-old Brogan Dulle and the cause of death.
Dulle's family issued a statement early Tuesday saying they were told he is dead.
Cincinnati Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell tells the Cincinnati Enquirer (cin.ci/1jUtco5) the building's landlord found the body hanging in the basement. He says the death appears to be "a self-inflicted act."
More than 1,000 volunteers helped try to find the University of Cincinnati sophomore.
