Missing man found dead

On Sunday Kentucky State Police received a call of a possible missing person in the Jackson community of Breathitt County. Troopers say a search of the area did not turn up any leads on Daryl Anthony Turner's location.

Tuesday afternoon state police say someone called to report a man's body had been found in a creek on Turners Creek in Breathitt County. State Police say a preliminary investigation indicates Turner had been riding an ATV when he lost control, ran over an embankment and into the creek.

The Breathitt County Coroner pronounced 32-year-old Daryl Anthony Turner of Jacks dead at the scene. The body was sent to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy.
