Monday's First Alert Forecast

Updated: Mon 10:19 AM, Sep 24, 2012

Cold air slid southbound this weekend, which was perfect timing for the first couple of days for Fall. Frost Advisory is in effect for a large portion of our viewing area till 8:00 am this morning. This is definitely early for this time a year. Typically we see our first frost in 2-3 weeks from now. Getting through the morning will be the tough part today because there is nothing rough about the afternoon. Very nice weather for our Monday with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 60's. We can get rid of the frost talk for the next several days. We will have several weak disturbances swing our way the next few days. This will allow warmer air to creep in and bringing moisture with it. Showers and thunderstorms can be expected as early as Tuesday morning lasting through early Saturday.

Enjoy the start of the work week!
