MT. STERLING, Ky. (WKYT) - More than 1,000 Clark Energy customers in Montgomery County were without electricity Thursday morning. The ice storm knocked trees into power lines all over the area. For those still in the dark, help is available.

The community room inside the Montgomery County Health Department is acting as a warming center.

The Health Department closes at 4:30 p.m. everyday. To get help after hours, call the county dispatch.
