More charges in case of toddler burned by drain cleaner

PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Two people charged in connection with a toddler burned in what police are calling a meth lab answered to charges Friday morning.

20-month-old Hunter Anderson's parents, Brittany Helton and Curtis Anderson, have been charged after he was was badly burned by liquid fire.

Two others, Brian Herrin and Krystal Hampton, were also arrested after being on the run from police.

Hampton and Herrin are also charged with controlled substance child endangerment. Herrin is facing other charges of Manufacturing Meth, Assault, Criminal Mischief and Terroristic Threatening. Police say both ran from the home after the incident was turned over to police. Hampton was arrested on Wednesday and Herrin was found on Thursday.

Both pleaded not guilty and preliminary hearings were set for next Wednesday. Hampton faces a $20,000 cash or property bond. Herrin is in jail on $50,000 cash bond.

Both suspects were given court appointed public defenders to represent them.
