Strong storms are moving into the Lexington metro. Watch for small hail, high winds and torrential rains.
The cooler than normal air doesn't want to loosen its grip on us. To be honest, I don't want it to either. It has felt amazing the past couple days and we continue that today. Highs this afternoon will settle in the upper 70s under mostly sunny skies.
Heading into our Friday we are looking at most of the day being dry before rain creeps in late in the day. Highs should settle in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Come the weekend a low pressure system will slide in from the south sparking showers and thunderstorms. This is not a washout, but a decent chance at some rain for us on both Saturday and Sunday. It'll be very spotty, so not everyone will see rain.
