More remains of woman sought after Ky. discovery

NEWARK, Del. (AP) - Police have been searching in Delaware for additional skeletal remains of a woman whose bones were found stashed in a storage unit in Kentucky.

Officers with cadaver dogs returned Friday to the former home of Doris Wood, a Newark-area woman who had been missing for 16 years.

Some bones belonging to Wood were found this month in a storage unit in Corbin, Ky., rented to Wood's husband, Robert Wood, who died earlier this year in Alabama.

The bones were stuffed into bags. They were found by a man who bought the storage unit's contents at auction.

New Castle County police spokesman Jacob Andrews tells the News Journal of Wilmington that Kentucky investigators had asked police to re-search the property as well as the grounds of Robert Wood's childhood home.
