The rounds of heavy rain and storms rolled through Kentucky on Saturday. Those storms produced flooding and minor damage all across Central Kentucky. Storms could get fired up again today.
Storms could hold off until the afternoon and evening hours before making a solid return to the area. These storms could again produce some rounds of heavy rain. Factor that in with very saturated ground from Saturday's storms and we have some high water concerns for later today. So keep that in mind if you live in an area that was rocked by the rounds of heavy rain.
A frontal boundary will move in on Monday. The front will trigger more showers and storms. The positive that comes from that... pleasant weather! The first week of September is exactly what you think it should look and feel like. Our highs in the low 70s and lows in the mid and upper 50s on a few nights. Some great stuff!
