LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - It's been a chilly and sunny week with temperatures trending near normal for mid-November on Friday. Dry and cool weather continues into the weekend. Many spots around the Commonwealth hit the lower 50s Friday. Overnight expect a low of 30 with clear skies. Saturday and Sunday we'll have plenty more sunshine and seasonable temperatures. A few areas may reach 60 with lows slightly below freezing. So expect to still have to scrape frost off of the windows Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Into next week this strong area of high pressure begins to move to the east and allow for a weak upper level disturbance to bring a slight chance of rain on Tuesday. Then we continue into Thanksgiving with more sunshine and temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

Have a great weekend!
