The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) - Police claim she put her underage son and his friends in danger. Now a Central Kentucky mother faces charges after authorities say she gave the teens vodka, beer, and marijuana.
Police in Franklin County arrested Donna Berry recently for the crimes, but she claims her son's friends came to her home when she wasn't there and then blamed her for giving them alcohol.
"I told them it wasn't a Holiday Inn, but they just kept right on," explains Berry, who told WKYT in a jailhouse interview that she couldn't control the group of teens, "I have eye witnesses of them opening my windows and crawling inside to unlock the doors when I wasn't at home. Or I've come home and there will be five or six sitting on my front porch."
Lawyers working for Franklin County Commonwealth's Attorney Larry Cleveland tell us the incidents happened between November of 2012 and January of 2013. They interviewed seven teens after initially receiving an anonymous tip about what was going on.
According to Frankfort police, Berry is charged with 11 counts of unlawful transactions with a minor, and one count of endangering the welfare of a minor.
