KENTON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- A Northern Kentucky mother faces charges Friday night, after police say she threatened her daughter's elementary school.

Police have charged Chasity Ellis, 25, with terroristic threatening.

Investigators say Ellis told the principal of Caywood Elementary in Kenton County that she was going to come to the school, and blow it up.

Police say they don't believe anyone was ever in danger. They think Ellis became angry after the school sent a resource officer to her home to talk about her daughter's frequent absences from school.
