LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) -- Children watched as their mother hit another woman with her car after a fight.
The Laurel County Sheriff's office says it happened Saturday afternoon on Terrill Road.
They say Jessica McCormick went to pick up her kids at her husband's house, when another woman, Amber Davis, followed McCormick out to her car and the two got into a fight.
McCormick tried to drive off with her kids inside the car.
That's when deputies say she hit Davis.
Investigators don't think it was intentional.
Davis was taken to the Corbin hospital and was later released.
The children were not hurt.
